what i see: frankfurt, germany

Römerberg Plaza, in the 'old town' of Frankfurt.
I'm back from my whirlwind overseas trip! And happy to be finally sharing some travel snaps with you.

First stop was Frankfurt in Germany. Frankfurt is the financial capital of Germany so it is quite a serious town and far from touristy, so there isn't a whole lot to do! I guess that figures as we were only there for my husband's work meetings! In saying that it makes for quite a relaxing and chilled out stay. I wandered around the cobblestone streets taking photos, drinking hot chocolates, eating apple strudel and checking out art galleries. It is the middle of winter so it was dark and gloomy which made the eating all the more enjoyable!

Keep scrolling to see more photos. Next stop is the magical New York - will work on those photos and post them soon.

Die Klienmarkthalle (fresh food markets) was my favourite spot to seek warmth and food! Mmmm
